Huggs forLIFE is the all-inclusive communication solution for Family & Friends of people navigating through a crisis. The crisis could be one's journey through fighting a diagnosis, or it could be the process of rebuilding your home following a natural disaster. The common thread is that Huggs forLIFE will provide the opportunity to create a closed-community of friends and family with interest in collaborating to help address a need. The larger benefit is the ability to bridge families going through common experiences, who can share protocols, recommendations, ideas, fundraisers and prayers - to help those going through the crisis. Our customized Profiles provide the opportunity to control communication about yourself, label the crisis, and combine how past experiences can help. Information on the Profiles is searchable through the mobile app - which provides a way for Members to connect with other Members who can offer and provide support. Combined with our Search function, personal Profiles become a powerful vehicle to connect people with common experiences in the time of crisis. The ability to close the information gap will be a key benefit. The Messaging function keeps everyone in contact without relying on ever-changing email addresses and phone numbers. Even members who wish to keep Profile information private can take advantage of Messaging with other Members in the Huggs forLIFE. Announcements provide two key capabilities in Huggs forLIFE. The Member (or Family) going through the crisis can utilize Announcements to send journal entries to their Friends & Family - providing critical updates along the way through their journey. Members of the Friends & Family can also use Announcements to send messages of encouragement to the larger group of Friends & Family, or individually to help the affected throughout their journey. Our Events feature acts as a community bulletin board to keep everyone informed on critical Events throughout the journey. For cancer patients, this can be the way to communicate important dates of treatment, so Friends & Family can be aware and keep the family in their thoughts and prayers. The Directory allows Members to quickly and easily find Friends & Family who have joined them in their journey through Huggs forLIFE. From the Directory, Members can create custom Groups for Messaging, or add Members to their Favorites - to help make future Messaging even easier and more simple. Creating a closed-community of supporters, Huggs forLIFE will greatly improve communication and engagement across your Friends & Family throughout your journey.
